2025 Howlong handicap doubles tournament
The Tournament was held at the magnificent Howlong Golf Resort Croquet Club with the courts looking great for the two day event. They were well prepared by the Superintendent at the Resort who did a wonderful job in preparing the courts and they were in exceptional condition. Many participant commented on the condition of the courts
Participants came from 16 clubs throughout Victoria and NSW, from as far afield as Mildura to Phillip Island in Victoria and Orange in NSW.
World Croquet Federation Association Croquet Championships
2025 WCF Association Croquet World Championship in West Palm Beach, Florida (18–26 Oct).
Representing Australia: Robert Fletcher (#1), Dwayne McCormick (#13), Greg Fletcher (#20), Greg Hill (#32), Stephen Forster (#33), Lachlan Berryman (#51), Michael Gidding (#52), Callum Hyland (#59), and Trevor Bassett (#76).

Hamilton Croquet Club
Members were saddened to hear of the recent death of Doris Lanyon, a life member of the Hamilton Croquet Club. Doris had celebrated her 100th birthday last year and was well on her way to her 101st birthday when she died.

VCA Cairnlea Golf Croquet Handicap Singles 2025
Don't miss the opportunity to enter. Maximum of 16 entries only being accepted.
Medals are on offer for Winner's and Runner's Up. This is an event set up for new and regular players to come and try the Cairnlea lawns. We are aiming this to be a fun tournament.
Come and join in the fun and you will have the ability to spectate and meet those players participating in the Owen Edwards Challenge.

VALE Iris Williams and Kevin Geyer
Horsham Croquet Club has sadly lost 2 life members during September. Iris Williams and Kevin Geyer, they had both been Life Members for 16 years. Iris had been a club member for 41years and Kevin for 34 years.
Iris Williams passed away on the 2nd September 2025 aged 89 and Kevin Geyer on the 22nd, September 2025 aged 94.
They both had cheeky cheerful personalities and a great love for the game of croquet.

Brian Reither Challenge AC Tournament 2025
The Victorian Association Croquet Brian Reither Challenge tournament was run over the weekend. The annual event began during COVID as a means of celebrating the contribution of Brian Reither (Ballarat Alexandra) to Association Croquet and to tournament play at State, National and International level.
