About Croquet Victoria

We are the State Sporting Association responsible for croquet across Victoria and Southern New South Wales. Established on 18 June 1914 as the Victorian Croquet Association Inc., we trade as Croquet Victoria.

Under our current rules, we lead and develop croquet in Victoria by coordinating and supporting Association Croquet, Golf Croquet, Ricochet and Gateball, played in 87 clubs across 14 regional associations. We are currently working to implement our 2022 to 2026 Strategic Plan - for detail see our Planning for Croquet page.

Croquet Victoria is committed to ensuring that every croquet participant, including children and young people, has a safe and happy experience, free of abuse, harassment, bullying or any other form of inappropriate conduct.

We support the active participation of all children. We listen to their views, respect their views and involve them when making decisions, where appropriate, especially about matters that will directly affect them (including their safety).

We are committed to consulting with parents and with the community.

We are committed to ensuring cultural safety for all.

Further, where we provide services to children, we are committed to implementing the eleven Victorian Child Safety standards, which include additional focus on the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children; involving families and communities; and online safety.
