At the recent Annual General Meeting of Croquet Victoria held at Cairnlea on 16 June 2025 the positions of President, Treasurer, and three Committee of Management Ordinary Members were declared vacant.

Congratulations to Croquet Victoria's newest Life Members.
The nominations for Croquet Victoria Life Membership (submitted by their respective clubs) for Wilma Freeman (Sale Croquet Club) and Brian Foley (Sandringham Croquet Club) were endorsed at the Croquet Victoria 2025 Annual General Meeting held 16 June 2025.
Congratulations to both.
President's Service Award
Sarina has contributed to the development, cohesion and effectiveness of Croquet Victoria, as a member of Council for ten years, and as Secretary over seven of those years. Her attention to detail and her record keeping have been exemplary and in due course will be an enormous help to her successor.
In addition to her formal responsibilities as Secretary, Sarina has:
At Ringwood, the committee decided to mount the heritage badge onto a perpetual shield and award it, on an annual basis, to the member who put in the most amount of “effort beyond the norm”. That was an easy decision to make.
The difficulty for the committee, however, was in choosing one winner over several others who were equally deserving of this honour but for different reasons and over different periods of time.
Croquet Victoria Golf Croquet Mixed Doubles Tournament – 5 & 6 July 2025 (entries close 26 June)
This is a new tournament for Croquet Victoria.
We are inviting any interested mixed doubles pairs to apply in this inaugural event. The aim is to have a fun weekend of play.
The format for play will be decided once we are aware of the numbers of teams that apply, the experience of players and the handicap level of each pair.
Rich River Anzac Classic Association Croquet Tournament
Sat 3 May – Thursday 8 May 2025
The RRCC ANZAC Classic AC Tournament was played across 6 days, in lovely sunshine at the Rich River Croquet Club, with competitors travelling from Tasmania, NSW, ACT, and Victoria.
The Strategy and Skills of all players across the tournament was amazing to watch, even though not all shots went as planned all competitors displayed great sportsmanship and enjoyed their time at Rich River.
