President's Service Award
Sarina has contributed to the development, cohesion and effectiveness of Croquet Victoria, as a member of Council for ten years, and as Secretary over seven of those years. Her attention to detail and her record keeping have been exemplary and in due course will be an enormous help to her successor.
In addition to her formal responsibilities as Secretary, Sarina has:
- provided wise advice to countless clubs and officials on issues of management, including strategies for dealing with difficult people and wrangling Australian Tax Office requirements
- initiated and continues to support regular briefing sessions for club and regional secretaries
- maintained and developed Croquet Victoria's social media presence, including our array of streamed videos on YouTube and an active and frequently updated Facebook page
- assisted with many player development and handicapping workshops around the State
- helped Council to deal professionally with critical and sensitive issues.
Her dedication, hard work and effectiveness have been extraordinary.
