We have recently established new Assistant positions for many organisational roles. Now we need members to fill them. Is there a role where you’d like to contribute?

Running the organisation - Assistant to

  • Secretary – supports Council, manages processes, advises clubs and members, runs our Facebook page. Contact Sarina Cevaal-Hewitt, 0467 954 366.
  • Treasurer – manages and reports on our finances. Contact Claire Keating, 0407 847 016.
  • Handicap Recorder – enters handicap and index changes into the system. Contact Ian McKee, 0403 390 108. 

Training and Coordination – Assistant to – 

  • Coordinator Coaching – trains and accredits coaches, supports the Croquet Australia coaching system. Contact Maurice Cevaal-Hewitt, 0409 362 947
  • Handicappers (Golf Croquet, Association Croquet) – determine handicaps on request, appoint competition handicappers, advise of handicapping. Contacts Maurice Cevaal-Hewitt (GC) 0409 362 947 ; Mike Cohn (AC) handicapsac@croquetvic.asn.au.
  • Referee Coordinators (Golf Croquet, Association Croquet – Train, accredit, and support referees. Organise refereeing for state events. Contact John van der Touw (GC) jvandert@bigpond.net.au; Kenn Boal (AC) acreferees@croquetvic.asn.au

 Development and outreach – Coordinator & Assistant Coordinator roles

  • Coordinator Golf Croquet and Coordinator Association Croquet – both development roles – are currently vacant. We’re looking for both coordinators and assistants, maybe as a team. Contact Tom Lacey (Nominations Committee), 0414 616 365.
  • Ricochet Coordinator – supports the growth of Ricochet across Croquet Victoria; assists in organizing state tournaments with the Tournaments and Fixtures committee. Contact Maurice Cevaal-Hewitt, ricochet@croquetvic.asn.au
  • Coordinator Under 21 – encourages Under 21 play, working towards an Under 21 State Squad. Contact Kate Patrick, 0403 108 215.
