Beverley Winnell has been a member of the Macedon Ranges Croquet Club since 2010. Beverley soon became a well respected member who always welcomed new members and made them feel most welcome.
Beverley was inspirational when running social events and included everyone and made volunteering to help run these events part of the fun of belonging to the club.
The Easter Raffle was our major fundraiser and she encouraged members to help makeup Easter Baskets with a 10% Donation from the raffle going to the Royal Children's Hospital. She was also involved in making up Hampers for our Christmas Parties. She had a real flair on making these events not only for the benefit of the club but fun at the same time.
Beverley was also involved in many other ways, serving on the Committee of Management in several roles including Housekeeping, General Club Member Representative and organiser of fund raising events. Beverley was a regular at our club and coordinated our Wednesday draws, collecting club playing fees and so many more behind the scene activities. Congratulations Beverley on your well deserved award.
