The weekend of 5th and 6th July the first VCA mixed doubles tournament was held.
20 teams competed in 2 divisions.
Winners of Division 1 were Claire Keating and Richard Hingst, both from Williamstown.
Runners up were Helen Gammon (Ivanhoe Park) and Andy Barbero (Wangaratta). In a close final 10/9.
Division 2 winners were Jan Proudly and Tom Dixon from Sandringham.
Runners up were Mary Tabrah (Traralgon) and Stephen Beitz (Leongatha). This was Stephen's 1st visit to VCC, so a very successful outing for him.
All teams posted wins and performed very well throughout the weekend with many close games. We hope to see even more teams next year.
