Croquet Victoria held its Teams and Pairs championships on the weekend of 29/30 March.
Team NSW, who won the Teams event in 2024, were successful again this year. Congratulations to the team!

We are getting ready to move Croquet Victoria into the Croquet Australia national membership platform. In preparation for that we have been restructuring the website. We have improved the look and feel, added Search, and started to assemble a library of video guides to help people find their way around the new website.

The Victorian team has retained the Eire Cup, undefeated after five days of play.
Yesterday was the fourth day of competition, and all three Tests were closely fought, with Victoria defeating NSW, WA defeating Tasmania and Queensland defeating SA all 11 games to 9. With the victory over NSW, Victoria was the only team remaining undefeated - but on the final day Victoria was up against SA coming off a narrow loss, and NSW was playing Tasmania, who were yet to win a Test. So NSW was still a real danger...
Enthusiastic group attends AC Umpire Training
Nine players from three clubs in South Western attended this week’s training for AC players and potential umpires at Warrnambool.
Kenn Boal did an excellent job of explaining and asking questions and made sure we understood all the rules.
Most of the players who attended are interested in registering as umpires.
