The United States has won the Openshaw Shield, defeating Egypt 7:0 - the remaining 5 matches in the Test were not played.

In a much tighter finish, Australia defeated New Zealand 5:4 to take third place. The last game in this Test went to a decider on Sunday morning, but did not alter the result. 

In the play-off for fifth and sixth, England defeated South Africa 8:1.

The closest result was between the two bottom teams, Ireland and Spain. In the end Spain won 5 matches to 4.

USA beat Egypt 4:2 in their final block game, topping Block A. They will play New Zealand in the other semi-final.
