South East Metro information

SEMCA currently comprises 6 clubs all on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Meetings are held bi-monthly. Each club takes a turn at hosting the meetings with the Annual General Meeting 2022 being held on the 18th June hosted by Mornington Croquet Club.

SEMCA GC Competition 2022

The Region holds it's own Golf Croquet handicap Challenge each year which is played over the season with an accumulative score giving the overall winning club. Games rotate between all clubs, giving a variety of surfaces and challenges for players to master. Our Presentation lunch is held at the end of the season with the handing over of the perpetual trophy and includes raffle prizes which are donated by clubs. Money raised goes to a different local charity each year.Raffle money went to Food For All. Thank you to all clubs who donated a prize.

Fun Day

All SEMCA Clubs and their members are invited to attend a fun social day for Golf and Association singles players. This is a great day accompanied by a sausage sizzle at lunch time and morning/afternoon tea provided. Next date to be announced. What this space!!!

VCA Regional Championships were held on April 1st & 2nd 2022 at the Victorian Croquet Centre in Cairnlea. Well done to our 2 representatives Janine Sisson (Mornington CC) and Bill Manwaring (RNB CC). All played well against formidable players from across the state, with Janine coming 2nd in her division. Our thanks to Alan Jenkins and Tom Dixon (Sandringham) for their Refereeing services. Without them, we would not have been able to compete.

Our Congratulations and thanks to the volunteers who in the past have volunteered their time and efforts as serving committee members of SEMCA. Thank you also to those honoured guests who have worked to progress competitive play in the region since its inception.
