With our Aussie athletes performing so well at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, we wanted to share a bit of Aussie Team Spirit by sharing a few photos of our MacRob Team competing in the UK at the 2026 World Team Championships - Tier 1, competing for the MacRobertson Shield

Round 1 of competition is complete, and the teams are now in Brighton for round 2 until 3rd August, before returning to London for the final round. 

Round 1: 24-28 July - Roehampton & Hurlingham (London)

4th Strategic Roadshow

Fifteen participants from four of the Geelong Clubs attended however unfortunately the date was a clash for Colac.

The Board of Croquet Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Damon Selwyn as General Manager, effective immediately.

Damon joined Croquet Australia in April as National Operations Manager. In that time, he has built strong relationships across the membership and applied his broad experience in sporting administration to good effect.

• Secretary: Sarina Cevaal-Hewitt (Twin City) (re-elected)
• Treasurer: Robin Russell (Brighton)
• Vice President: Wayne Lewis (MCC)

Committee of Management Ordinary Members: Rita Jenkins (Shepparton) and Ian Potter (Boort) (both re-elected). Alister McDougall (Boort) was subsequently elected by Council to a vacant CoM position.

On their way!

Members of the Australian MacRobertson Shield Team pictured below departing for England to compete in Tier 1 of the MacRobertson Shield 24 July to 9 August 2026. 

Today saw the finals of the Victorian Mixed Doubles event. The block rounds saw a very competitive field with many unpredicted wins throughout the weekend. 

All players did an amazing job .

Thank you to all the players and  referees who assisted with their time to make this event so successful.
