Vics will be hard to beat

Victoria is in a very strong position going into the final day of the Eire Cup.

Today Victoria had a convincing win against Western Australia, 16 games to 4. Tasmania beat Queensland 12:8, and SA beat NSW 11:9.

Victoria is now the only undefeated team, with four wins. SA and NSW have three wins, Tasmania has two wins, and Queensland and WA are yet to win a test.

Tomorrow Victoria meets NSW, SA meets Tasmania, and Queensland meets WA.

The Victorian team is clearly in form, with consistent play across both men and women. Today the Vics pegged out in all but three of their winning games, including two of the doubles, five of the women's games, and six of the men's games.

Results of tomorrow's games will as usual be available on Croquetscores as they come in.
