2023-03-08 HORSHAM CROQUET CLUB SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP held on 6/3/2023 The Match Committee organised our annual Singles Championships which began at 10.30am on a very pleasant Monday morning. ACA cards were used, level play, 13 hoop games 1st to 7. There were 13 entries in total, Div.1-4, Div.2-5, Div.3-4 Most games were very closely contested with our Referees keeping an “eagle eye upon”

2023-03-18 WIMMERA CROQUET ASSOCIATION SINGLES GOLF CROQUET CHAMPIONSHIPS 2023The Wimmera Golf Croquet Singles Championships were held at Horsham Croquet Club on Wednesday 15th March 2023. Play started at 10am, 14 entries from Horsham and Dimboola clubs.3 Divisions playing 13 hoop games, first to 7. The weather was rather warm and those in 2nd division were absolutely exhausted after playing 5 games. The majority of matches were very closely contested as were the results in each division. The winners from each division qualify to represent the Wimmera in the Regional Singles Championships in Melbourne at Cairnlea on March 31st-April 2nd. Good luck to all who go and enjoy yourselves. 2023-03-18 HORSHAM CROQUET CLUB DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIPS 2023 played on 17/3/2023 On Friday 17th March 2023 we played our doubles championship starting at 10am. There were 2 entries in 1&2 divisions, (best of 3 games) and 3 entries in 3rd division. (each with a bye). Division 3 was a close contest with a 3way countback, won by our newest members Rachel and Greg, Congratulations to you both. Thanks to all who participated and the organisers who made this event possible especially after such a busy week for the club members. |
