AC ranking events: Gold, Silver, Bronze
On the weekend of 3/4 March, Cairnlea hosted the annual Victorian Gold Cup, Silver and Bronze Shields. Players are invited to these events purely on their ranking.
The top eight available players go into the Gold Cup, the next eight into the Silver Shield, and another eight are invited to the Bronze Shield. As one player was forced to withdraw late in the proceedings, the Bronze Shield ended with seven players.
Cairnlea Classic supports Eire Cup players
The weekend of the Vic v Vic A practice match saw a small but committed group of Association Croquet players providing support for the team.
This event has been held for the past two seasons to ensure a number of players are in attendance for the introduction of the Victorian AC Team, who will compete in the Eire Cup in South Australia in March.

Country Week success at Swan Hill
The 2018 Country Week AC Tournament at Swan Hill was a great success for those who were able to make the trip.
The weather was wonderful, the courts were in great condition and the Swan Hill Croquet members made us feel welcome and fed us all too well!!
Kew AC Tournament:
Divs 3 and 4
Between Friday 23 March and Sunday 25 March Kew Croquet Club held its Division 3 and 4 tournament.
There were six players in each division - a smaller number than in the past, but very enthusiastic.
Players included members from far afield: Corowa in NSW, Bright in NE Victoria, and The Briars Heritage club at Mount Macedon on the Mornington Peninsula. We also had players from more local clubs, including Ringwood, Monash, MCC, Brunswick, and Kew.
