Competition
Congratulations to Geoff Reilley, club GC champion, to runner-up Kaye Molyneux, and to first-time tournament managers Richard Parks and John Oudyn.

Congratulations too to John v, who won the Victorian bronze medal, and will represent Victoria in the Australian gold medal competition.

Monash has three members competing in the Australian opens, Kaye, John v. and Richard, and we wish them success and good games.

Monash got to the semi-finals of the handicap GC shield competition, but was defeated by Brimbank despite some excellent play. The position of our two teams in the GC level play competition depends on outcomes this week. Best of luck to all players.

Who set that hoop?

Social
Croquet by torchlight, our April event, was fun. Who needs lights when glow-sticks can light up the hoops?
On Tuesday May 8 we're hosting a biggest morning tea, in support of the Cancer Council. All welcome.

Starting times
Back to later starts, Wednesday at 1.00 pm, and Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 9.45 am.
