Korumburra welcomes Seniors Week visitors

On Saturday 14th October, Korumburra Croquet Club held their Come and Try day as part of the Seniors Week celebrations.

Seven people showed an interest on the day.

Ater a welcome by our President Helen Checkley, followed by some basic drills, they were paired off with club members for some games on the B lawns.

Most of our members turned up to help our visitors with practical advice on the intricacies of croquet, including mallet grip, balance and ball play.

Everyone enjoyed the day and several of the visitors indicated they would be returning in the future.

The afternoon session was followed by a delicious afternoon tea.
