Top players compete in President's Eights
Croquet Victoria was host to the Association Croquet President’s Eights at Cairnlea over the weekend of 6 to 9 October.
This four-day event attracts the top players from around Australia.
Teachers have a ball at Ballarat Alexandra
At this year's Teachers Games, over 100 teachers opted to compete in Golf Croquet doubles games - twice as many as signed up last year.
Teams from all over the State participated, with players of all abilities from the novice to the more experienced.

Korumburra welcomes Seniors Week visitors
On Saturday 14th October, Korumburra Croquet Club held their Come and Try day as part of the Seniors Week celebrations.
Seven people showed an interest on the day.
Ater a welcome by our President Helen Checkley, followed by some basic drills, they were paired off with club members for some games on the B lawns.
Most of our members turned up to help our visitors with practical advice on the intricacies of croquet, including mallet grip, balance and ball play.
Everyone enjoyed the day and several of the visitors indicated they would be returning in the future.
The afternoon session was followed by a delicious afternoon tea.
New winner at Williamstown
The weekend of 14 and 15 October heralded the coming of Spring. The weather was warm, the wind gentle and the courts green and in good order.
Victorian Divisional Championships – AC
A part of the history of Victorian croquet was continued on the weekend of 21 and 22 October.
The Tregallas and Nelson Medals are awarded to the winners of the Divisional Championships. While the original format has changed somewhat over the years it is great to see the tradition continuing.
