Golf Croquet Handicaps have changed
Australia adopted a new system for Golf Croquet handicapping on 3 April 2017.
Every Victorian player has been given a new GC handicap and index. They can be seen on the website in membership listings and player profiles.
Clubs have been issued with handicap cards showing the new trigger points. You can pick up a new card from your Club Handicapper showing your updated handicap and index.
You can read all the technical details of the new system on the ACA website.
Note for Players
- If your handicap is 12 and you had been struggling to get your index much above 0, you may ask your club handicapper to reset your handicap to 14 with a new index of 1050.
Note for Club Handicappers
- From now on, whenever a new club member is added, the system will assign a starting handicap of 16.
- If you want to start a newly added player on 14 or 12 instead, simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
