In Brunswick Park, Victoria Street, Brunswick, between Sydney Road and Pearson, next to West Brunswick Tennis Club - Melway 29 E6.
Enter via Pearson Street to get into the carpark close to the club entrance.

Visitors are welcome to join us on:
Sundays: 11 am to 3 pm, golf
Mondays: 6 pm to 9.30 pm, association. Shared meal at cost. Email Kate if you'd like to join in,
Wednesdays: 9 am to 12 noon, golf
Saturdays: 10 am to noon, golf or association.

Mallets and balls provided. Just wear comfortable clothes (no long skirts) and flat shoes.

There is also gateball practice at Brunswick, usually on the first Sunday of the month, from 1 to 3 pm.
Other weeks, gateball practice is from 1 pm to 3 pm at either Kew or Essendon Croquet Clubs.

We charge a green fee of $5 a day - for local residents, though, your first session is free.
At our 2017 Annual General Meeting we decided not to charge members a green fee.
If you are playing gateball you will need to check with Essendon and Kew for their green fees.

Our next GC beginners course will start in February 2018. This is run in conjunction with U3A Moreland. If you'd like to join the course, do get in touch via our email,

Why mallet sports?

Brunswick MSC encourages members to learn different versions of the game: golf, association, and gateball. Gateball is a fast moving team game, golf croquet is sociable, association combines billiards and chess on grass (if you like pool, you'll really take to association croquet).

Members pay a club membership sub plus dues for affiliation with the Australian and Victorian Croquet Associations (covers insurance) - not required if you already pay this via another club.
You can join online via our SurveyMonkey form, or just come along to the club and sign up.

Looking for competition, or a social game?

Brunswick includes members who enjoy competing in tournaments and competitions while others come along for a social game and don't want to enter competitions. Our aim is for us all to value and support each other. Seems to be working well.

We cancelled our 2017 GC tournament, no-one was available to run it. Next year!

Well done to Greg Hill on winning the selectors' AC event.
We had teams in the Spring GC Metro Shield and 16-20 AC Metro Pennant competitions. The Kookas made the Shield grand final, the Burras have been on the cusp...
The Kew/Brunswick AC team came 3rd.

Our clubhouse is available for the local community to have events (see pic below), and for corporate events, such as group building, and end of year parties.
