Visiting the Victorian Croquet Centre

The Victorian Croquet Centre, our headquarters, is the perfect venue for your event. It is available for hire to Corporations, Businesses, Community Groups, Individuals and Family Groups for events with or without croquet.

The purpose-built facility in Cairnlea, in the western suburbs of Melbourne, features 12 full size courts and a state-of-the-art pavilion. The function area seats 200, with a licensed bar and a commercial kitchen, and overlooks manicured grass courts.

What's New?

WCF Golf Croquet World Championships

Victoria is hosting the Golf Croquet World Championships in February and March.

As well as the Main Event, the program also includes a Qualifying Event, the Under 21 GC World Championship, and the Ramsis Cup.

Merchandise is available for pre-order on the Event Website along with information about the venues and some accommodation suggestions.

Admission is free for spectators. Registration is now open - please download free tickets if you are planning to attend so that we can predict numbers and plan catering.

The Worlds Day One: play begins

Day One of the World Championship was warm and mostly sunny.

At Cairnlea, there was just enough wind to move the flags.




GCWC set to go

The qualifiers have been decided, the draw has been published, and tomorrow the contestants register and are welcomed.

The final list of players has been updated on the GCWC website, and the draw is available on Croquetscores.

Felix Webby the new Under 21 champion

In a gritty best of five final, Felix Webby (New Zealand) decisively defeated compatriot George Coulter, 7:3, 7:6, 7:5.

GCWC Qualifier Day 2

The second set of round robin games were played today.

In three blocks there was a clear winner who goes forward to the main event. Playoffs were needed in Block 3 for the top spot and in Blocks 1 and 2 for the third spot and a second chance to qualify.
